Final Fantasy XIV Fanfest in Anaheim
I can't believe it's been close to a month since Final Fantasy XIV 's Fanfest event in California.
It still feels a bit surreal attending my first Fanfest! Thanks to the wonderful friends, old and new, for making my first one a wonderful one 💗

I cheered so loud during the Evercold trailer and the Primals concert... My voice was pretty hoarse after!
KV and I sat by two Emet-Selch and G'raha Tia cosplayers and they shared how much better Anaheim 's Fanfest ran compared to Las Vegas. The Emet-Selch cosplayer eventually left briefly, but we continued our conversation with the G'raha Tia cosplayer. They were overall really friendly and wished us a fun first Fanfest 🥹

I also attended the WoL sticker exchanged and wow did I underestimate the amount of stickers I ordered! I ordered 100 stickers total, but I likely needed 200 or maybe even 300 to trade with everyone! I ran out of stickers fairly early on and there was a whole section of the crowd I didn't even get to. These are all the stickers and trinkets I collected!

I also met some of my FC members for the first time and we had dinner after Keiko's piano concert. Excuse my photo angle ;; but look at the cool gifts we each got from Rui, a dear friend and one of the FC founder 🥹 They made acrylic stands of our WoLs!

Several photos from the Exhibit Hall! I kept taking selfies with the Estinien banner (he's my favorite), but I also couldn't take myself seriously and kept laughing, thus the blurry photo, hehe.

On Sunday morning, as KV and I were waiting for our rideshare to come by and head to the airport, we ran into Foxclon! He shared that Fanfest went great and we wished him a safe flight back home!

My digital footprint has been present for a long time. I was that kid browsing the web on the family compact computer in the late 90s.
I've seen the highs and lows of the internet. I've moved through many online communities and while I've pulled back A LOT on my social presence in general, I've been fairly active on XIV spaces since 2020-2021. Friends I've reconnected with, met, and made has been so special. The game, its music, the stories, the characters... has marked an everlasting impact on me.

I created Wisteria, my Warrior of Light, that has been my muse for the last 6 years. She is extra special to me because she exists as MY Final Fantasy character, a series I've loved since I was 12 years old 🥹💗
I cannot wait for Evercold!!
